Aloha All Rats, My wife and I moved to Las Vegas a year ago this month (Oct 2019) from Kaneohe. We live on the north side about 20 minutes from downtown Vegas. Very nice area and neighbors are nice too and quiet area too. Too bad the virus hit all over but we are keeping safe and I hope keeping safe in Hawaii too. Hopefully to make it for the reunion on Maui next year. Till then aloha and be safe everyone.

Just returned from a great (classmates turning 70 years old) reunion in Las Vegas.  The committee (Leroy, Bernardo, Melody, Craig, Emerick, Richard and probably their spouses) did a superb job so mahalo much to them for putting on a great event.  Good to see some 'first time' classmates who attended the reunion.  Always enjoy seeing our classmates again.  Thanks again to the committee.

Just attended our 50th year class reunion.  Much mahalo to the committee for always working hard to put on a great, enjoyable reunion!!  It was a joy seeing and catching up with former classmates.  I'll always have fond memories of this reunion as this is the year the 'Eddie' went and I saw Eddie Wendt.  Those of you who reside on Maui but didn't attend the reunion missed out on a something special.

I am a graduate of Baldwin High School, class of 1967.  I believe I photographed Paul Campbell inadvertantly at the Kaahumanu Church on one of my photographic expedtions.  My brother was a friend of Paul Campbell who graduated in 1966.  Went to the Tuesday 1:00 pm. religious education at the Mormon Church with Melodie....but; sometimes, I would skip religious ed and go down to the Wailuku River to swim.  This Cool.  I live in Colorado since 1971.

Thank you so much for everyone that planned our latest class reunion in Vegas. It was great seeing everyone again after 45 years. It was great seeing so many of my fellow Puunene classmates, and really sitting and having a very lovely chat with all. Hope to see everyone at our next class reunion. Hopefully, it\'ll be in Maui.

Thank you committee members for putting together this latest reunion.  Not as many classmates as the one three years ago but it was just as much fun.  I was hesitant about attending because of my back surgery but I\'m so glad I went.  Richard Herlandiz made me laugh so much both nights that I forgot about all my aches and pains!!!  Talking story about Puunene School with Myra, DeeDee, Bobby, etc. brought back wonderful memories.  To Frances N., thanks for the nice chat. Mahalo again, committee.

Aloha fellow classmates, and especially the website designer. Very impressive, I just got the email and appreciate being added, Bernard. Wish I knew about this site a year ago and mite have made to the reunion in Vegas. I thank Kathy Pico for introducing me. After 40 something years of not seeing each other, we made contact on facebook, and before you know it we planned a get together in Arizona and met three times in phoenix before she went back to Maui. Again Mahalo, until the next reunion...

Aloha,
Just happened to surf the internet looking for c/o 62 and this site came up. I must say this site is outstanding, both in the layout and its contents. I did recognize some of the student faces both in the elementary and high school. It’s been almost forty seven long years, since I last step foot on BHS campus. Keep up the good work and I hope someday c/o 62 will have a site of its own.

Although the lunas were '66 football, baseball and almost basketball MIL champs, you "66 Baldwin Bears class sure is many a step ahead of all Maui HS classes of the past. This website is the bestest of all. Will you teach me how to design one....just one-third of what you have should suffice. Have a GREAT reunion!

Aloha all,

Bernardo, wonderful website and a  great contribution to the class.  I promised you some of the photos I took at the Puunene Reunion -- I  can't believe that was a year ago already!  I will get them to you after I sign this guest book.

I had never attended any of the previous reunions and that has been to my great loss.  I used the Army as my excuse--it always seemed I didn't have the time or I was stationed too far away whenever I found out there was one taking place.  Well, since I've retired from the Army and my second career as a government contractor, I now have the time, and living in Puyallup, WA, I'm a direct flight to HI or any other venue the reunion committee may come up with.  I realize the sadness to see that so many of our classmates have passed.   Life is good and often it is short.  Have you noticed that we're hardly sorry for what we've done in life but what we haven't done?  If you haven't made up your mind to attend, please sign up.  Since this is the first class reunion I'm attending, it's very special to me and I hope to see a whole lot of you in Vegas!  Until then, take care.

Tomas

Awesome site, Bernardo, and certainly enjoying it during my lunch breaks....much better than doing work.  It's great to catch up on what our classmates have been up to over the past 40+ years, and learning that you're all doing well.  Quite shocking to see how many of our friends have "left before us".  Guess this is all the more reason to stay in touch.  Best wishes to all, be happy, stay safe and healthy.
